If you’ve ever talked about Mr. West with me, you probably have experienced my child-like admiration and inability to describe him without saying awesome (although I probably overuse that word anyway.)
I’ve been playing his new song non-stop for a few weeks now and I can’t get enough.
This is a comeback song. After the whole Taylor Swift fiasco, the world collapsed onto Kanye, but with “Power” Yeezy is telling everyone that he’s not backing down.
One line in the the last verse says everything: “I was drinkin’ earlier, now I’m drivin’”. Kanye was having fun and being reckless, but now he’s in control. I can’t wait to see where he goes.
Kanye’s next album “Good Ass Job” is due for release in September.
